Canada is most desirable retirement destination for Britons

British people looking to retire abroad have named Canada as the most popular choice to emigrate to.
It came top with 12% of the vote, above Spain, Australia and New Zealand, which all took 10% in the survey for Halifax International.
One in six British pensioners have considered moving abroad, according to the poll.
